Overall a very disrespectful experience. The company sent two people rather than the three people that were assigned to a recent prior move of the same household by a different moving company, so in retrospect I believe this move was understaffed. The movers were careless in a number of ways, one being they neglected to shrink-wrap or blanket items prior to putting them on a metal dolly, thereby scratching our furniture. They denied this even though I witnessed it firsthand, which was so insulting. We advised the guy that prepared a bid that two oversized leather chairs must be disassembled/reassembled, and on the day of the move, because they were running late for another client (!) the movers refused to do this, and damaged the chairs (and a wall) by trying to force them through a doorway. In disassembling a monitor arm they managed to lose the hardware to it. And our wooden bookcase and walnut nightstand were badly scratched, as well as our powder coated steel shelves being chipped. They piled up boxes before I could locate the carpet pad, so I had to roll up the rug myself later to lay that down. Awful experience. I would have gladly paid more for a crew that handled things with care.
